Description:
Hampo 003-0699, is a HD Monochrome (Black & White) global shutter camera for accurate and fast capture of moving scenes at 60 fps in 720p resolution. This Global shutter USB camera features OV9281 CMOS Image Sensor with pixel size of 3.0 x 3.0 µm and a dedicated high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP), that performs all the Auto functions (Auto White Balance, Auto Exposure control). This global shutter camera captures images at a high frame rate, which helps to minimize frame-to-frame distortion and reduce motion blur while capturing fast-moving objects to produce smoother images with greater scene details.
Both global shutter and high frame rate make it suitable for applications such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Gesture Recognition, Robotic Vision, Drones, Barcode Scanner, Factory Automation, Conveyor Monitoring Cameras, and Traffic Monitoring Systems.
Based on 1MP monochrome (black&white) global shutter sensor OV9281, assembled with a 105°(D) 99°(H) low distortion M12 lens without IR pass filter, sensitive to IR.
Global Shutter: Shoot high-speed moving objects in crisp sharp images. Avoid the rolling artifacts to get a much more accurate complete picture than the rolling shutter cameras. Reserved external trigger ports, support trigger via external signal.
HD Resolution: 1MP (1280H x 800V) HD definition 60fps at per second;
Plug&Play: UVC-compliant, just connect the camera to PC computer, laptop, Android device or Raspberry Pi with the USB cable without extra drivers to be installed.
Applications: The sensor's excellent low-light sensitivity and the low distortion lens allow it to perform better in any application that needs gesture and eye tracking, iris and physiognomy recognition, depth and motion detection.
Serial Number: Supports modifying the Serial Number.

Characteristic of Global Shutter
Global shutter mode in an image sensor allows all the sensor's pixels to start exposing and stop exposing simultaneously for the programmed exposure period during every image acquisition. After the end of the exposure time, pixel data readout begins and proceeds row by row until all pixel data has been read. This produces non-distorted images without wobble or skewing. Global shutter sensors are typically used to capture high-speed moving objects. It can be compared to conventional lens shutters in analog film cameras. Like the iris in the human eye they resemble lens aperture and are probably what you have in mind when thinking of shutters.
APPLICATIONS
Both global shutter and high frame rate make it suitable for applications such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Gesture Recognition, Robotic Vision, Drones, Barcode Scanner, Factory Automation, Conveyor Monitoring Cameras, and Traffic Monitoring Systems.

FAQ
Q: Why choose camera module with global shutter?A: If your cameras need to capture moving objects and rapid movement sequences, then shutter type is a crucial criterion alongside sensor technology in determining the quality of the images. Since the advent of global shutter technology in CMOS sensors, there is now a more individual and flexible choice of suitable sensor technology for your application.
Q:How does a global shutter sensor work?
A: A global shutter exposes all lines of an image at the same time, 'freezing' the moving object in place. This prevents distortions, which makes global shutter technology the ideal choice for applications with moving objects and rapid movement sequences, including automatic license plate detection as part of traffic monitoring, for example.
.Q: What advantages this camera module has?
1. High frame rates
2. High resolution
3. Crystal-clear images, even for very short exposures
4. Outstanding noise characteristics, even in poor lighting conditions
5. Broad dynamic range
6. High quantum efficiency of up to 70%
