When the motor starts running, impellers will rotate and touche water surface, it will press air into water and therefore increase some oxygen in water.

the aerator works with the energy supplied by the batteries. During the day, the solar panels recharge the batteries (48 volts x 17 amp) and also supply electricity to the motor (120-260 volts AC). During the night, the solar panels does not work, the motor uses only the electricity from the batteries.
