Structure: Suction tubes are generally composed of three parts: air inlet tube, cannula and suction end. The air inlet tube is connected to the suction source, the cannula part is inserted into the patient's airway, and the suction end is used to insert the patient's airway to absorb sputum.
Size: Suction tubes have different diameters and lengths to adapt to different airway sizes and suction needs. The common diameter is 6-16 Fr (2-5.3 mm).
Special design: Some suction tubes are curved to facilitate insertion into the airway; with guide tracks for easy positioning; with multiple side holes to increase the suction area.
