Safetech's Viper Gravity Gate Latch Ends Jamming Worries
As a fence and gate contractor, you know that a great feature of a gravity gate latch is the reliability that it will latch when the gate is closed. They will keep people and pets in or out as the situation warrants. But until now a weakness of gravity latches is the chance of the hook jamming before they engage the latching bar. This can occur when dirt, leaf residue or other particles lodge between the hooks and their guiding slots - the guiding means - that direct the hooks over the latching bar.

Yes, our pool gate hardware is tested to and complies with the Australian Standards. for a copy of our Product Technical Statement.
2.How can we get our Gravity Latch re-keyed to our house key?
You will need to take the latch to a locksmith prior to installing or arrange for a service call from a locksmith.
3.Can you supply replacement keys?
In most circumstances,we can supplyreplacementkeys. We wilneed toknow when thelatch was produced (by checking the producion date onthe backofthe latch). fthisis not possiblean aproximate purchase dalte should be enouph.However the only product we cannotsuply a replacement keyfor are anyViper aiches that are"lindividualyKeved.lfyou have losthekey for one of these, we can supply a replacement barrel 8 2 keys.
4.How can I adjust the tension of my hinges?
If you have purchased our adjustable tension hinges you simply use the allen key tool supplied with the hinges. You may have to remove the rubber protection cap first, this will pull straight out. To increase the tension use the hexagonal end of allen key turning CLOCKWISE. From the neutral position, you can increase the hinge tension 4 times. Each increase will be felt and you will also hear a pronounced click.
5.Should I support the gate weight while installing the hinges?
The gate needs to be supported whilst attaching the hinges to the post. They are not designed to carry the weight of the gate
until both hinges are attached.
6.Can the hinges be installed on a wall?
No, as they can only open 90 degrees.
7.What is your delivery time?
Usually 15 days, depending on the size of the order.
