The Bag-On-Valve (B.O.V.) represents an advanced barrier packaging technology, specifically designed for liquid and viscous products. Typically, B.O.V. systems are integrated into aluminum cans featuring a one-inch opening, which is utilized for crimping the valve. This valve is then welded to a foil-based packaging bag composed of a multi-layer film laminate. Following the crimping of the valve, compressed air or nitrogen is introduced into the space between the bag and the can. This particular step, known as "under the cup gassing," plays a crucial role in maintaining the perpetual separation of the product and the propellant, ensuring the optimal performance and preservation of the packaged contents.
