Centella asiatica grows in tropical swampy areas. The stems are slender, creeping and creeping, green to reddish-green, connecting plants to each other. It has a long stalk, green, rounded apex, smooth texture, and palmate reticular veins. The leaves are borne on a ring-shaped petiole and are about 2 cm (0.79 in). The rootstock consists of rhizomes that grow vertically downwards. They are creamy in color and covered with root hairs. Asiaticin is a triterpene glycoside derived from the plant Centella Asiatica. This activity is the result of stimulating collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis.
