Raspberry Pi 5

Overview
Introducing the next-generation Raspberry Pi 5 from CENTURY SOLUTIONS LIMITED, a monumental leap beyond the Raspberry Pi 4. As the latest jewel in the Raspberry Pi family, this cutting-edge model boasts a CPU that is 2-3 times more powerful, a significantly enhanced GPU, and revamped camera, display, and USB interfaces. These innovations are powered by Raspberry Pi's proprietary RP1 I/O control chip, marking the first flagship product to feature a Raspberry Pi chip! Due to popular demand, Raspberry Pi 5 includes two new features for meticulous sales tracking and potential returns:1) Each board is uniquely marked on the upper side of the PCB to identify its specific memory density (as shown in the graphic above).
2) Every board features a unique serial number on both the PCB and the individual carton, allowing you to trace which boards have been shipped to specific customers. Ensure to record serial numbers during the outbound shipping process. Full shippers of 180 boards also include an external barcode to catalog the contents of each shipment.

Raspberry Pi 4 VS Raspberry Pi 5

The Anatomy of Raspberry Pi 5

Accessories - Raspberry Pi 5 Case

The new Raspberry Pi 5 case is a refined version of the Raspberry Pi 4 case, featuring enhanced thermal properties to support the increased power consumption. It integrates a variable-speed fan, powered and controlled via a dedicated connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB.
The case is available in our classic red/white color scheme at launch, with black/grey options to follow soon.
Accessories - 27W USB-C PD Power Supply

Our advanced 27W USB-C PD (Power Delivery) Power Supply delivers up to 5.1V, 5A, enabling Raspberry Pi 5 to support a broader range of peripherals. The default power limit from the four USB ports is nominally 600mA, which automatically increases to 1.6A when the USB-C PD Power Supply is detected.
The USB-C PD Power Supply also supports 3A @ 9V, 2.25A @ 12V, and 1.8A @ 15V for PD-compatible devices, making it a versatile and cost-effective solution for various general-purpose applications beyond Raspberry Pi.
Accessories - Active Cooler

The Active Cooler is a robust cooling alternative for users who require sustained high performance from their Raspberry Pi 5. It combines a large metal heatsink with a variable-speed blower, powered and controlled via the fan connector, and attaches securely to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB using sprung pins into mounting holes.
Accessories - RTC Battery

The Raspberry Pi 5's power-management IC includes an integrated real-time clock and charging circuitry for a button cell, ensuring the clock remains powered even when the main power is disconnected.
We offer a premium Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, complete with a two-pin plug for easy connection to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB. It also includes a double-sided adhesive pad for convenient mounting inside a case or other suitable locations.
Accessories - Camera and Display Adapter Cables

Raspberry Pi 5 is equipped with two four-lane MIPI connectors, each supporting either a camera or a display. These connectors utilize the 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch 'mini' FPC format, requiring adapter cables to connect to the 15-way, 1mm-pitch 'standard' format connectors used by our current camera and display products.
We provide mini-to-standard adapter cables for cameras and displays in lengths of 200mm, 300mm, and 500mm.
Please be aware that a camera cable should exclusively be used for camera connections, while a display cable should solely be used for display purposes.
