The simple respirator is composed of a robust elastic breathing capsule, a combined neck, an air pocket, a mask, an oxygen tube, a mouthpiece, and an oropharyngeal airway.
Crafted from medical-grade silicone (valve body diaphragm), PC (valve body), and PVC (bag), the materials guarantee no adverse effects on the human body, ensuring safety and reliability.
E. Range of Application
This apparatus is primarily used for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and general artificial respiration assistance, making it an indispensable tool for emergency scenarios.
F. Method of Application
1)Lay the client supine, remove the pillow, and tilt the head back to ensure an open airway.
2) Clear any visible foreign objects from the mouth and throat, including dentures.
3) Insert the oropharyngeal airway to prevent tongue bite and blockage.
4)The rescuer should position themselves behind the patient's head, tilting it back slightly, and maintain the airway open by holding the lower forehead upward.
5) Securely place the mask over the patient's nose and mouth, using your thumb and forefinger to hold it in place, while stabilizing the forehead with the other fingers.
6) Compress the respiratory ball with your other hand, delivering air into the lungs at a steady pace to ensure adequate ventilation:Adults: 12~15 compressions/min;Children: 14~20 compressions/min;Infants: 35~40 compressions/minEach ventilation should span 1 to 2 seconds for maximum effectiveness.
7)For patients with an air tube or tracheotomy, remove the mask and connect the respirator directly to the tracheotomy joint, following standard operation procedures.
8)Rescuers should monitor the following signs to confirm proper ventilation:
a. Observe the patient's chest rise and fall with each compression.
b. Check the patient's lips and face color through the transparent mask section to ensure adequate oxygenation.
