
Tooling paste description
- Thixotropic tooling paste, specific for the surface moulding with CNC milling on wooden supports, MDF, compounds, fiberglass, PU foams and sealed polystyrene.
- Easy to applied, it allows to obtain thin or thick thicknesses,fast harden.
- Easy to obtain excellent surface finishes already at the end of the mechanical process.
- Small defects can be repaired through machine or hand after milling.
- Low density.
- Epoxy resin base.
- Have a throughly mixing till white disappear by hand or a planetary mixer follow by the indicated ratio.
- To make the adhesion of the paste on its support.Strong propose to apply a thin epoxy resin coat first prior to apply tooling paste epoxy resin.
- Have 10-15hrs post cure at room temperature before milling.

- Tooling gel coats are formulated specifically for mold making. These series contain both special polyester and vinyl ester products.
- Skin coat.Superior mold cosmetics can be achieved by using a skin coat with hybrid vinyl ester resin behind the gel coat. Be applied after the gel coat application and offer good protection from fiber-print and distortion on the gel coat surface in order to increase mould turnaround time.
- A full line of tooling resins for all methods of tool manufacture. These products include a vinyl ester and a series of low profile resins. The vinyl ester resin can be used as skin and bulk materials in the conventional mold building process. This process consists of daily single ply lamination until the required mold skin thickness is achieved.
