Pressing Molding Resin has high mechanical properties, hot water resistance, chemical resistance, good gloss and surface smoothness.During the storage of resin in the unused state, the pressed molding resin shall be kept intact in the internal and external packaging, protected from freezing, sun exposure and rain, and kept away from light at room temperature.
Mold preparation: Make a suitable metal or composite mold according to product requirements.
Material laying/impregnation: Place the reinforcing fiber material (such as glass fiber, carbon fiber) layer or prepreg into the mold.
Pressure molding: Place the mold into a press or other pressurizing device and cure it under high temperature and high pressure.
Demolding and post-processing: After curing, remove the product from the mold for subsequent processing such as cutting and polishing.
Common resin materials used in molding process include:
Thermosetting resins: such as unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, BMI resins, etc.
Thermoplastic resins: such as polypropylene, polyamide, polycarbonate, etc.
