Application:
Mflam 1430 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant for polyolefins, especially for PP glass fiber reinforced. PP treated by Mflam 1430, can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm), and pass the 70 °C X168 hours water immersion test (UL746C), while passing GWIT 900 ° C and GWFI 960 ° C glow wire test. Mflam 1430 can also be applied to glass fiber reinforced PP, can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm).
In TPE application, Mflam 1430 is also a very good choice.

Advantage:
Mflam 1430 is especially for glass fiber reinforce PP, and the PP which have the high requirement of high temperature and water solubility.
Another advantage of Mflam 1430 is: the PP made by Mflam 1430 can replace of PC/ABS engine plastic, same function, lower cost.

Remarks:
(1) The initial thermal decomposition temperature of Mflam 1430 in air is about 280 °C, so the processing temperature of the twin-screw can be adjusted according to the specific conditions to enhance the dispersion and enhance the plasticization effect. A certain degree of hollowness must be maintained during the twin-screw extrusion process.
(2) When Mflam 1430 is used in PP, it is not recommended to use a combination of strong shear screws.
