The welding wire we sell mainly serves as a filler metal and conducts electricity during the welding process. In gas welding and tungsten gas shielded arc welding, the welding wire serves as a filler metal and melts with the base metal to form a weld seam, filling the gaps in the weld seam to provide sufficient strength and size. In submerged arc welding, electric slag welding, and other melting electrode gas shielded arc welding, the welding wire is both the filler metal and the conductive electrode, providing a current path for the welding arc. In addition, the alloy elements in the welding wire can adjust the chemical composition of the weld, improve the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the weld. For example, elements such as chromium and nickel in stainless steel welding wire can improve the corrosion resistance of the weld seam. There are various types of welding wires, including solid wire and flux cored wire. Solid wire is widely used in China, while flux cored wire is rapidly being promoted. The diameter selection of welding wire also varies depending on the welding process and requirements. Fine diameter is suitable for thin plate and fine welding, while coarse diameter is used for large work pieces .
3) Fast deposition speed and high production efficiency. Under the same welding current, the flux cored wire has a high current density and fast melting speed, with a deposition rate of about 85% -90%. Its productivity is about 3-5 times higher than that of electrode arc welding.
