Our meltblown nonwovens are created by extruding melted polymer fibers through a specialized spin net or die with up to 40 holes per inch, producing long, thin fibers. These fibers are then stretched and cooled with hot air as they descend from the die. The resulting web is collected into rolls and further processed into finished products. Meltblown nonwovens, known for their extremely fine fibers (typically polypropylene), offer unique properties ideal for applications such as respirators, face masks, and filtration media. They are often combined with spunbond materials to create SM or SMS webs used extensively in the disposable diaper and feminine care industries.
