Felivet FPV-FHV-FCV Ab Test
Principle
The Felivet FPV-FHV-FCV Ab Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated FPV-FHV-FCV recombinant antigens. If there are FPV-FHV-FCV antibodies in the specimen, the corresponding T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can indicate the presence of FPV-FHV-FCV antibodies in the specimen.

Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV), Feline Herpes Virus (FHV) and Feline Calici Virus (FCV) are recognized as important causes of illness and death in cats. Kittens are most susceptible to FPV, FHV and FCV, especially after weaning when protective Maternally Derived Antibody (MDA) levels decrease. Sometimes MDA may actually interfere with vaccinations that are given for immunization. In many countries, vaccination programs have significantly curtailed, but not eliminated the incidence of these diseases. Thus, FPV, FHV and FCV continue to be of great clinical concern among veterinarians worldwide and still present a diagnostic challenge.

Test procedure
(Qualitative: get the result by "nake eye" directly)
Allow all materials, including samples and test equipment, to be restored to 15-25°C before running the assay.
Take the test device out of the aluminum foil bag and place it horizontally.
Drop 1 drop of serum or plasma sample into the sample hole "S" of the test device, and then drop 2 drops of buffer.
Interpret the results within 10 minutes. The result after 15 minutes is considered invalid.
