Also known as AS, referred to as SDS, it is an anionic surfactant, alias: sodium cocoyl alcohol (or lauryl alcohol) sulfate, K12, foaming agent, etc. k12 or k-12 sodium dodecyl sulfate.
Structural formula CH3(CH2)11OSO3Na, molecular weight 288.39. White to slightly yellow powder, slightly special gas, apparent density 0.25g/mL, melting point 180~185ºC (decomposition), easily soluble in water, HLB value 40, non-toxic.

Application:
It is commonly used in detergents and textile industry auxiliaries in industry. It is an anionic surfactant. It is easily soluble in water, has good compatibility with anion and non-ion, and has good emulsifying, foaming, penetrating, cleaning and dispersing properties.
1. Used as detergent and textile auxiliaries.
2. Used as anionic surfactant, emulsifier and foaming agent, used in toothpaste, shampoo, shampoo, shampoo, washing powder, liquid washing, fire extinguishing agent, emulsion polymerization emulsifier, wool cleaning agent, etc.
3. GB 2760-96 stipulates that it is a processing aid for the food industry. Used in cakes, beverages, egg whites, fresh fruits, juice drinks, edible oils, etc.
4. Used as an emulsifier for medicines, cosmetics, and synthetic resins.
5. Flotation agent for metal beneficiation.
6. Biochemical analysis, electrophoresis, ion pair reagents
