TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, is a block copolymer composed of diisocyanate, chain extender, and polyol. The soft segment composed of polyol shows flexibility and toughness, while the diisocyanate, as the hard segment, gives the material hardness and rigidity, and the hard segment serves as a physical cross-linking point after crystallization, making TPU show high elasticity. Therefore, TPU has significant advantages such as high tensile strength, large elongation, and low long-term compression permanent deformation. Compared with traditional shoe materials, foamed TPU (ETPU expanded thermoplastic ) is an environmentally friendly material with ultra-high elasticity, ultra-light density, high wear resistance and bending resistance. It is suitable for use in sports shoe soles and insoles, because ETPU can absorb the impact of the ground on the soles of the feet, effectively protecting our knee joints and heels, making every step light and elastic.

Full of flexibility
It is composed of countless elastic PU foam balls, and its elasticity is far more than that of ordinary shoe soles. Each microsphere is equivalent to a small football with sealed microbubbles inside. The midsole of sports shoes composed of countless microspheres can absorb the impact suffered by the foot during running and convert it into energy for feedback.
Lightweight:
Lighter than traditional midsole materials, weighing less than 2/3 of traditional EVA materials.
Natural and environmentally friendly:
ETPU is a non-petroleum mineral derivative and is easy to degrade. It can take as short as 1-3 years to degrade and as long as 3-5 years to completely degrade. It is natural and environmentally friendly!
Cushioning:
It has stronger cushioning function than traditional midsole materials, which can protect the knees more effectively during exercise!
Durability:
Durability: Data show that it can maintain its original physical properties in the temperature range from minus 20 degrees to 40 degrees. It has good cold resistance, good heat resistance, and strong durability: it can maintain optimal elasticity under various temperatures. (There is almost no change between -20 and 40 degrees Celsius). The previous problem of shoe soles becoming hard in winter has been solved. Popcorn bottoms remain elastic over a wide temperature range.
