Fungicide Difenoconazole Products 95%TC, 10%, 25%WDG, 250EC, 400SC, 30FS
Difenoconazole is a low-toxicity heterocyclic fungicide. It has strong systemic activity and a broad spectrum of action. It rarely develops resistance. It is widely used in agriculture. Difenoconazole controls various diseases caused by ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, and deuteromycetes. It is particularly effective against diseases like leaf blight, black spot, and powdery mildew.
Its main mechanism involves disrupting C14 demethylation in pathogens. This inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis. It damages the physiological functions of cell membranes. Benzovindiflupyr strongly suppresses spore production in plant pathogens. Difenoconazole effectively controls disease progression and provides protective and therapeutic effects.
Features of Difenoconazole
1. Unique Mechanism of Action
Difenoconazole is a triazole fungicide. It disrupts the demethylation process in pathogenic cells. This inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a cell membrane component. It damages the structure and function of cell membranes. This leads to growth stagnation or death of the fungi, achieving fungicidal, preventive, and therapeutic effects.
2. Diverse Modes of Action
Difenoconazole has three modes of action: systemic, therapeutic, and protective. It acts quickly. After application, it is absorbed by crops in a short time and translocated upward. This effectively controls the occurrence and spread of diseases.
3. Broad Spectrum of Activity
Difenoconazole effectively controls various fungi. It targets diseases caused by ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, and deuteromycetes. It is suitable for vegetables, fruit trees, field crops, and flowers. It shows good efficacy against banana leaf spot, anthracnose, wheat sheath blight, and more.
4. Good Safety Profile
Triazole fungicides can cause phytotoxicity if misused. They may inhibit gibberellin synthesis, leading to slow apical growth and shortened internodes. Difenoconazole is one of the safest triazole fungicides and can be used safely during the seedling stage.
5. Good Compatibility
Difenoconazole can be mixed with various fungicides and insecticides, such as thia methoxam, imidacloprid, phoxim, pyraclostrobin, azoxystrobin, captan, dithianon, and other.
Application
1. Main Uses
Difenoconazole, as a triazole fungicide, is relatively safe and can be widely applied to fruit trees, vegetables, cereal crops, rice, soybeans, and horticultural crops. It can be used for both seed treatment and spraying, making its applications very diverse.
2. Specific Usage
(1) Prevention of Early Blight in Potatoes: For each acre, use 50-80 grams of 10% Difenoconazole water-dispersible granules for spraying, with an effectiveness period of 7-14 days.
(2) Prevention of Pear Scab: At the initial stage of disease, spray with 6000-7000 times diluted solution of 10% Difenoconazole water-dispersible granules. If the disease is severe, the concentration can be increased.
(3) Prevention of Black Spot in Chinese Cabbage: Start spraying from the initial occurrence of the disease, approximately every 10 days, for about two applications. The dosage is 40-50 grams of 10% Difenoconazole water-dispersible granules.
(4) Prevention of Anthracnose in Grapes: Use a solution diluted 600-800 times from 10% Difenoconazole water-dispersible granules for whole plant spraying, applied every 7-10 days.
(5) Prevention of Large and Small Leaf Spot Diseases in Corn: For each acre, use 80 grams of 10% Difenoconazole water-dispersible granules mixed with 60-75 kilograms of water for spraying.
