Made of expanded metal, rib lath is ideal material used as a background for plaster, render, stucco application in construction of suspended ceilings partition. Rib Lath, with a herringbone mesh pattern and stiffened seven deep longitudinal solid steel ribs, provides superior strength and exceptional rigidity. This is made possible as the mesh areas are expanded by cutting and stretching in the sheet metal with the ribs being simultaneously roll-formed. The herringbone mesh pattern makes it suitable for use for wet wall plaster, as formwork for thin concrete slabs and stucco application in construction for ceilings.
