Spherical plain bearings are a kind of special sliding bearings that can carry quite a high capacity of radial and axial loads due to their large contact area. HOJE Spherical plain bearings are manufactured in a wide variety of configurations and materials. Basically, a spherical plain bearing has an outer-spherical inner ring and an inner-spherical outer ring. This design makes them ideal for bearing applications of alignment movements or oscillating movements, such as mining equipment, construction machine, etc.
Description of Spherical Plain Bearing:
1, Material: the inner and outer rings are bearing steel(GCr15).
2, Heat Treatment: the inner and outer rings are quenched and phosphating.
3, Structure: There are oil grooves and oil holes in the inner and outer rings. The outer ring has an axial slot. Sealing rings are attached on both sides.
4, The sliding surface is coated with MoS2 powder lubricant.
5, Performance Characteristic: It has the advantages of abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and self-aligning. It applies to the machine which requires heavy radial load and axial load in a small-range direction.
