The Grundfos MAGNA1 circulator pump is the simple option for a job well done. With its high energy efficiency the product lives up to the EuP 2015 regulations ensuring substantial savings on electricity, and with its intuitive, user-friendly interface and maintenance-free design, MAGNA1 is the ideal circulator pump for basic performance needs in applications where basic system control and monitoring are desired. With this range of circulator pumps, everything from setup to basic control and monitoring are made easy. The pump is maintenance-free due to the canned-rotor type design. MAGNA1 offers the possibility of monitoring the pump via the fault relay output. The digital start/stop input remotely controls the pump. Grundfos MAGNA1 is a comprehensive integrated controller series of circulating pumps that can be adjusted for pump performance according to actual system requirements. In many systems, this will significantly reduce power consumption, decrease noise emitted by thermostatic radiator valves and similar components, and improve control over the system. The desired lift can be set on the control panel.
Design purpose
The pump is designed to circulate liquids in the following systems:
Heating system
• Domestic hot water system
Air conditioning and cooling system.
This water pump can also be used in the following systems:
Ground source heat pump system
• Solar thermal system.

Water pumps are suitable for pumping materials that are easy to flow, have low viscosity, are clean, non corrosive, and non explosive
The liquid must not contain solid particulate matter or fibers that can cause mechanical or chemical damage to the water pump.
In heating systems, water quality should meet recognized water quality requirements for heating systems, such as the German standard VDI 2035.
This pump is also suitable for household hot water systems.
