.Tuning fork density meter uses acoustic frequency signal source to excite the metal tuning fork,and makes the tuning fork vibrate freely at the center frequency.This frequency has a corresponding relationship with the density of liquid, therefore, the density of liquid can be measured by analyzing the frequency. And the temperature compensation can eliminate the temperature drift. While based on the corresponding relationship between density and concentration,the concensation of liquid under the 20ºC can be calculated .

Application in desulfurization industry
In lime slurry (calcium hydroxide) wet flue gas desulfurization system, it is necessary to measure the density of limestone slurry that entering the absorber, which is related to the desulfurization efficiency.
The limestone slurry entering the absorber has the following characteristics:
(1) In the process of mixing, the slurry has heat dissipation phenomenon, the temperature changes largely, and the density changes obviously.
(2) Calcium hydroxide solution contains a large number of particles, it is easy to crystallize and scale, especially after shutdown.
(3) Therefore, when choosing a densitometer to measure the density of calcium hydroxide solution, it is necessary to consider the impact of particles for measuerment and the convenience of later maintenance.
So,It is important to use a tuning fork density/concentration meter that can online measure the density of calcium hydroxide solution which containing a large number of particles, it can be converted to display the density and concentration values according to customer's needs, or density and concentration values can be displayed simultaneously (optional)
