Power frequency induction furnace is an induction furnace with an industrial frequency current (50 or 60 Hz) as the power supply. Because the power frequency induction furnace heating equipment is simple, easy to draw materials, convenient construction, no flame, the use of specific resistance furnace, flame furnace and cupola heating safety in the environment requiring riot fire protection, it has been developed into a more widely used smelting equipment. It is mainly used as a melting furnace for the smelting of non-ferrous metals such as copper and zinc.In addition, the power frequency induction furnace is also used as a heat preservation furnace. At present, power frequency induction furnace has replaced resistance furnace and flame furnace to become the main equipment in casting production, and compared with resistance furnace, power frequency induction furnace has great advantages.
