Product Description
High-carbon steel base adamite roll ring

Description
The carbon content of steel base adamite is between steel and iron. The material holds the strength and toughness of steel rolls, and meanwhile possesses the high hardness and good wear-resistance as the iron roll. In order to improve the wear-resisitance, the content of carbon is controlled nearly the same as iron. The microstructure of the shell of high-carbon steel base adamite ring consists of matrix and carbides. It features the tiny hardness fall in the working layer and even wear-resistance, ensuring the consistency in dimension when rolling large-section pieces. Graphite steel is used as the core material due to its high strength meeting the requirements of big rolling force.
