LW Series Horizontal Screw Discharge Sedimentation Centrifuge (Drilling Wave Centrifuge) is driven by two motors, the main motor drives the rotating drum and the differential shell through the belt, and the auxiliary motor drives the screw propeller after the differential speed change. This makes the drum and the spiral propeller rotate in the same direction, and has a certain differential rotation speed

When the material enters the inner barrel of the spiral propeller with the feed pipe, due to the high speed rotation, the material flows to the drum wall through the outlet, and the light and heavy phases of the material are composed of the light and heavy phases, due to different centrifugal forces, the heavy phase is quickly deposited on the inner wall of the drum, while the light phase is slowly adhered to the surface of the heavy phase, and a layer of interfaces between the light and heavy phases is formed. With the increase of heavy phase deposition, the top of the spiral blade into the heavy phase deposition layer, when the drum and the spiral propeller are rotating at high speed in the same direction, and there is a certain difference, this relative difference in rotational speed so that the heavy-phase particles to the small end of the outlet, while the light-phase liquid through the spiral to form a channel that flows to the liquid phase outlet, the position of the liquid-phase overflow port by the regulator plate control.
