Working Principle:
The working principle of a spiral classifier is based on the stratification of materials under the action of the spiral blade rotation. When materials are fed into the classifier, the rotating spiral blades push the materials upwards. During this process, fine materials, due to their smaller particle size and higher hydrodynamic resistance, will rise with the spiral blades and overflow from the top of the classifier, while heavier coarse materials, due to their larger particle size and lower hydrodynamic resistance, will sink below the spiral blades and are discharged through an opening at the bottom, returning to the grinding mill.
