Q: What is the difference between concentric and eccentric size head in application?
A: Concentric size head is used to change the diameter of the pipeline, so that the smooth transition of the fluid, suitable for the flow uniformity requirements of high, no special installation space limitations of the occasion, such as general horizontal pipeline transportation. Eccentric head is often used to control the flow direction of fluid or to avoid gas-liquid accumulation, for example, in the import and export piping of pumps, the bottom flat eccentric head can prevent gas from accumulating at the bottom of the pipeline, and the top flat eccentric head can avoid the liquid from accumulating at the top.
Q: How much resistance does a reducer have to fluid?
