I. Overview
Ceramic filter plate is the core component of ceramic vacuum filter. As the filtering medium of ceramic filter, it is a revolutionary breakthrough since the 20th century and has strong substitutability for traditional filters.
The TT series ceramic plate products are divided into two major categories: white corundum and brown corundum. The product skeleton raw material is aluminium oxide and some inorganic binders and pore-forming agents are added. After being formed by 500T dry pressing and precision processing, an alumina film surface with micron pore diameter is sprayed by advanced technology, and then it is sintered twice at 1500 - 1800°C to form a porous ceramic plate with double-sided filtering layers and a pressure resistance of up to 8 bar.

II. Working Principle

Since this porous material is endowed with countless extremely tiny capillaries, it is capable of generating capillary action. During the filtration process, owing to its capillary force, only water can pass through the filter plate throughout the entire procedure, while air is never able to pass through. As a result, the filtration task is accomplished. Moreover, the vacuum degree can reach above -0.097 MPa. The requirement for the pumping capacity of the vacuum pump is extremely low indeed.
This unique filtration property of the ceramic filter plate makes it highly efficient and reliable in various industrial applications. It can effectively separate solid particles from liquids, ensuring the purity of the filtered water. The ceramic filter plate also has excellent durability and resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for long-term use in harsh environments. Additionally, its ease of installation and maintenance further enhance its practicality and cost-effectiveness.
III .TT series ceramic filter plate Features
- The skeleton has a high density, the film layer has high strength, is pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and is not easily damaged.
- It has a high pore-forming rate and large production capacity; high filtration precision and low vacuum energy consumption; fine material and strong plasticity. At present, two processes of adhesive composite plate and integral pressing integrated plate have been developed and used.
- There are many regeneration methods. It can be cleaned with high temperature, high pressure, organic solvents, etc. The regeneration effect is good and the service life is greatly extended.
