Microencapsulated magnesium beadlets sphere/beads/MUPS
1) Mixing

RMG(Rapid mixing granulator)- In RMG active & inactive ingredient is added together which can be dry/ wet mixing and the entire API gets mixed with the inactive ingredient and forms a mixture.

2) Extrusion

The mixture is the added in the extruder which is passed through various sizes of different screens.

3) Spheronization

The extruded granules are then added in the spheronizer to obtain perfectly spherical spheres

4) Fluid bed Coater & Dryer

The spherical spheres obtained through spheronization are then added in the fluid bed multiprocessor and the spheres are dried & coated.

FOR HUMAN NUTRITION

1) Solution Preparation

Active & inactive ingredient is mixed together & an emulsion is obtained.

2) Spray Drying
After an emulsion of the material is obtained, it is added in a spray dryer and is converted to powder form.

Applications

1.The high temperature at which magnesium burns makes it a useful tool for starting emergency fires during outdoor recreation. Other related uses include flashlight photography, flares, pyrotechnics and fireworks sparklers.

2.To photoengrave plates in the printing industry.
 
3. In the form of turnings or ribbons, to prepare Grignard reagents, which are useful in organic synthesis.
 
4. As an additive agent in conventional propellants and the production of nodular graphite in cast iron.

 
 
 
Magnesium granules and powder
 

Magnesium granules (> 160 µm) are used coated and uncoated to reduce sulphur in pig iron. In the sequential process with lime and/or calcium carbide as desulphurisation reagents, both, magnesium mixtures and pure magnesium, ensure a highly efficient reduction of sulphur to lowest ratios in a comparatively short process time.

Special passivated Mg granules are used for the production of cored wire, in the treatment of nodular cast iron, and hot metal desulphurisation.
