Product Indications
Gastrointestinal prokinetic agent, mainly for functional dyspepsia with stomach burning, belching, nausea, vomiting, early satiety syndrome, the gastrointestinal symptoms such as epigastric distension. It is also useful for gastroesophageal reflux disease, diabetic gastroparesis and gastric dynamic dysfunction in some gastrectomy patient. 
 

PHARMACOKINETICS
Mosapride citrate is mainly absorbed from gastrointestinal tract after oral administration. Highest serum concentrations of mosapride citrate are detected in parts of intestines and stomach, liver and kidney, followed by plasma, few in brain. Mosapride citrate were given to healthy subjects orally on an empty stomach at the dose of 5 mg, its peak serum concentrations were attained within 0.8 hours at the concentration of 30.7ng/ml, it has half-life of elimination of 2 hours and protein binding 99.0%. Mosapride citrate is metabolized by CYP₃A₄ enzyme of Cytochrome P450 in the liver, the primary metabolite is des-4- fluorobenzyl mosapride. The drug is excreted mainly by urine and feces.
