1. Used for trace analysis and determination of tellurium and niobium, as well as preparation of developer solutions, and also as a reducing agent;
2. Used as a stabilizer for artificial fibers, fabric bleach, photographic developer, dyeing and bleaching deoxidizer, flavoring and dye reducing agent, papermaking lignin remover, etc;
3. Used as a common analytical reagent and photosensitive resistor material;
4. Reducing bleach has a bleaching effect on food and a strong inhibitory effect on oxidase in plant-based foods. According to Chinese regulations, it can be used for preserves with a maximum usage of 2.0g/kg; It can also be used for glucose, liquid glucose, sugar, rock sugar, malt sugar, candy, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and canned mushrooms, grapes, blackcurrant concentrate, with a maximum usage of 0.60g/kg. The residual amount (calculated as SO2) of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, canned mushrooms, preserved fruits, grapes, and concentrated black currant juice is ≤ 0.05g/kg; Potato starch residue ≤ 0.03g/kg; The residual amount of biscuits, sugar, vermicelli, and other varieties is less than 0.1g/kg; The residual amount of liquid glucose shall not exceed 0.2g/kg;

The printing and dyeing industry, as a deoxidizer and bleach, is used for the cooking of various cotton fabrics, which can prevent local oxidation of cotton fibers and affect fiber strength, and improve the whiteness of the cooked fabric. The photosensitive industry is used as a developer. Organic industry is used as a reducing agent in the production of meta phenylenediamine, 2,5-dichloropyrazolone, anthraquinone 1-sulfonic acid, 1-aminoanthraquinone, sodium aminosalicylate, etc., which can prevent the oxidation of semi-finished products during the reaction process. Used as a lignin removal agent in the papermaking industry. The textile industry is used as a stabilizer for artificial fibers. The electronic industry is used to manufacture photoresistors.
