YMT2344ESR
YMT2344 ESR chromium tool steel with reinforced alloying elements molybdenum and vanadium. The chromium element makes alloy steel resistant to softening at higher temperatures is a primary hardened steel with high temperature tempering resistance, maintaining high hardness and strength in high temperature environments. It has good performance in thermal fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and is a material with high toughness, high ductility and high hardenability. It can be directly water- cooled during production and use.Chemical Composition:

YMT2344 ESR is used in various hot-work molds, such as warm extrusion molds, light alloy die-casting molds and light/heavy metal hot forging dies and their accessories. For higher requirements, we recommend using electroslag remelted YMT2344ESR

Delivery Conditions
Delivered in pre-hardened condition, max hardness 229HB, or according to customer's requirement.
Heat-Treatment
Air cooling, oil quenching or 450-550OC salt bath. App. HRC52-56

Stress Relieving
Heat to 650OC, keep in furnace for one hour, then air cooling.
