(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is designed for use on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines to open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without load but with voltage present.
The switch is intended for single-phase use in three-phase line systems and is characterized by its simple structure, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use. Available rated currents include 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. These switches consist of a base, post insulators, conductive parts, and a mechanical section. A gate knife structure is utilized for opening and closing the circuit. Each phase's gate knife comprises two conductive blades, with external compression springs on both sides. Adjusting the spring height achieves the necessary contact pressure for the switch's gate knife. The switch is operated using an insulated hook stick for opening and closing actions, and features a self-locking device.
Working Environment:
Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters;
Ambient temperature: maximum not above +40°C; minimum not below -30°C;
Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35 meters/second;
Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation site should not experience frequent severe vibrations.
The installation site should not have gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive mediums that seriously affect the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN THE ABOVE NORMAL USE CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, THE USER CAN NEGOTIATE WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
- Remove dust and dirt from the parts, and carefully wipe the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle.
- Scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw.
- Apply a layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas.
- Check the contact surface and adjust the height of the compression spring so that the contact pressure complies with Table II.
- This switch is only suitable for hoisting use and is used in conjunction with the transformer on the line.
- The rated current of this switch is 200-400 ampere hours, and generally only three mounting holes are used. 600-1000A uses three mounting holes.
Check the following parts of the switch regularly every year:
Remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles.
Check all parts for damage, pay special attention to check the insulating porcelain bottle for damage and cracks.
Check whether the contact surface of the conductive part is good.(Updated2025.3.5day)
