Description:
The SmartLine® series pressure transmitters are designed based on high-performance sensors. Each sensor effectively integrates multiple sensors, combining process pressure measurement with static pressure (for DP models) and temperature measurement used for temperature compensation, thereby achieving superior overall performance.
Display Head Options
Standard LCD Display Head:
- Modular (can be added or removed on-site)
- Supports HART protocol
- Adjustable to 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270° positions
- Measurement units include: Pa, kPa, MPa, kg/cm², Torr, ATM, i4H2O, mH2O, bar, mbar, inH2O, inHg, FT H2O, mmH2O, mmHg, and psi
- Large screen display (9.95 mm high x 4.20 mm wide) with 2 lines and 8 characters
- Square root output and write protection indicator
- Display module features internal configuration buttons for setting and calibrating the transmitter via internal or external keys
Self-Diagnostics:
SmartLine® transmitters all offer digitally accessible diagnostics, which help provide advanced alarms for potential fault events. This significantly reduces planned downtime and lowers overall operating costs.
Configuration Tools
Integrated Internal or External Configuration Button Options:
Transmitters can be configured for all basic parameters using buttons integrated within the display module or external magnetic keys. The integrated external buttons meet all electrical and environmental requirements. For zero/span setting functions, external buttons can be used regardless of whether an LCD display head is selected.
Handheld Configuration:
SmartLine® transmitters support bidirectional communication and configuration between the operator and the transmitter. This is achieved through Honeywell's field configuration toolkit. Honeywell's field configuration toolkit allows for the on-site configuration of HART transmitters and can be used in intrinsically safe environments. All Honeywell transmitters are designed and tested to comply with the provided communication protocols and can be used with any certified handheld configurator.
Computer Configuration:
HART Field Device Manager (FDM) software and FDM Express can be used to manage the configuration of devices.
System Integration:
- SmartLine® communication protocols comply with the latest HART standards.
- All SmartLine® transmitter devices have been tested with Experion®, ensuring high compatibility.
Modular Design:
To help control maintenance and inventory costs, all ST700 transmitters feature a modular design, allowing for easy hardware replacements such as adding an LCD display head, replacing electronic modules, or even changing the transmitter diaphragm, without affecting overall performance or equipment safety certification. Each transmitter diaphragm is uniquely characterized and calibrated to provide exceptional performance across a wide range of static pressures and temperatures. Additionally, with Honeywell's modular interface design, electronic modules can be interchanged without compromising performance specifications.
- Diaphragm Replacement
- Addable or Removable LCD Display Head*
- Replaceable Surge Protection Module (Terminals)*
*Except in explosion-proof environments, on-site replacements can be performed in any electrical environment (including intrinsically safe areas) without violating safety certification regulations.
Honeywell's innovative modular design reduces inventory requirements and maintenance costs without affecting transmitter performance.
