Characteristics of power frequency induction furnace
Power frequency induction furnace is an induction furnace with an industrial frequency current (50 or 60 Hz) as the power source. Because the power frequency induction furnace heating equipment is simple, easy to draw materials, convenient construction, no open flame, the use of resistance furnace, flame furnace and cupola heating safety in the environment requiring riot fire protection, it has been developed into a more widely used smelting equipment. It is mainly used as a melting furnace for smelting copper, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. In addition, power frequency induction furnace is also used as insulation furnace. At present, power frequency induction furnace has replaced resistance furnace and flame furnace to become the main equipment in casting production. Compared with resistance furnace, power frequency induction furnace has great advantages.
