Description:

This method is suitable for determining the water saturation rate of asphalt mixtures, which can be used for mixture quality control in asphalt mixing plants, investigation of old roads, and quality assessment of compacted asphalt mixtures on pavements. The tests are carried out at room temperature unless otherwise stated.

Features:

1. Turn on the power supply The power switch lights up, timing, and the adiabatic vacuum window lights up waiting for work.

2.The instrument is equipped with two vacuum gauges, the pointer one is the relative vacuum gauge and the digital one is the adiabatic vacuum gauge. The system is equipped with upper and lower limits, the upper limit is 4.0KPa, the lower limit is set at 2.5KPa, when the vacuum reaches the lower limit the vacuum pump stops working, and when it reaches the upper limit the vacuum pump works again to ensure the vacuum required for the test (97.3~89.7kPa).
3.Instrument set up a good working program when the vacuum degree reaches 4.0KPa (97.3KPa) automatic time to hold pressure for 15 minutes, hold pressure for 15 minutes after the automatic deflating, so that the vacuum chamber to return to atmospheric pressure state continue to hold pressure for 30 minutes. (The instrument adopts adiabatic vacuum, no matter in the plain or plateau, the instrument can reach below 4.0KPa, that is, more than 97.3KPa, which also solves the problem that the instrument can not reach more than 97.3KPa on the plateau vacuum gauge.)
