Classification
Hot dip galvanized substrate
A hot-dip galvanized color-coated sheet arises from coating an organic layer on a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. Beyond zinc protection, this organic coating provides insulation, safeguarding against rust and remarkably extending the sheet's lifespan beyond ordinary hot-dip galvanized sheets. Typically, the zinc content is 180g/m2 (double-sided), with a maximum of 275g/m2 for exterior building purposes.
Hot-dip Al-Zn substrate
The hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, comprising 55% Al-Zn, serves as an advanced coating substrate, offering aluminum and zinc content at about 150g/m2 (double-sided). Its corrosion resistance surpasses hot-dip galvanized sheets by 2-5 times, enduring temperatures up to 490°C without significant oxidation or scaling. With heat and light reflection capabilities twice that of standard hot-dip galvanized steel and a reflectivity over 0.75, it is the ideal energy-efficient building material.
Electro-galvanized substrate
The electro-galvanized sheet, when coated with organic paint and baked, transforms into an electro-galvanized color-coated sheet. Due to its thin zinc layer, usually 20/20g/m2, it is unsuitable for exterior walls or roofs. However, its appealing appearance and excellent processing make it ideal for home appliances, audio systems, steel furniture, and indoor decoration.
Polyester (PE)
Boasting good adhesion, vibrant color options, extensive formability, and outdoor durability, with medium chemical resistance at a cost-effective price.
Silicon modified polyester
Also known as SMP, this coating offers excellent hardness, superior abrasion and heat resistance, and remarkable outdoor durability. It maintains gloss and offers good chalk resistance and average flexibility at a moderate cost.
High Durability Polyester
Referred to as HDP, it delivers outstanding color retention, superior UV resistance, exceptional outdoor durability, and chalk resistance. With excellent film adhesion, a rich color palette, and remarkable cost-effectiveness, it is a premium choice.
Polyvinylidene fluoride
