In railway engineering, round-end pier columns dominate, including hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper circle and lower circle), hollow piers, and more. These formworks are typically fortified using tie rods or trusses for enhanced stability.
The choice of formwork material is determined by mechanical model calculations. The manufacturing process for pier column formwork markedly differs from standard combined steel formworks. Generally, the construction unit provides component design drawings, which are then used by formwork designers to develop the final product.
Customized according to blueprints and feedback from the construction unit, these formworks are distinct from ordinary fine machining products and conventional construction steel structures.
