Italian Style Quick Change Tool Post and Holder Set
The Italian style quick change tool post, as the name suggests, is a type of tool post that originates from Italian machining practices. It is known for its robust construction and ease of use. The design typically consists of a main body that mounts to the lathe carriage and an interchangeable tool holder. The tool holders are equipped with a locking mechanism that allows them to be quickly attached or removed from the tool post, without the need for extensive adjustments.
The quick-change tool holder is the main accessory of an ordinary lathe, consisting of a tool post and several tool holders. According to the needs of the workpiece to be processed, the corresponding tool holder can be selected to perform machining such as turning the outer circle, turning the end face, grooving, cutting, knurling, drilling, reaming, and boring. The height of tools can be regulated and positioned relative to the centerline of machine spindle. It features external tool-mounting, tool-matching, quick tool-changing, high positioning accuracy and strong rigidity.
