It solves the difficulty of air DTH hammer drilling in soil layers and the low construction efficiency of rotary drilling rigs in hard rock layers, gravel, and pebble layers. 

1. The mechanical top driving force head is used to realize the functional integration of mud drilling and pneumatic down-the-hole hammer drilling. It can provide high speed of 901rpm and high torque (maximum torque of 10500N.m). When drilling into the soil layer, the drill can use coreless composite pieces or cone drill bits to drill with mud. It can perform high-speed rotary drilling in the rock layer and can also work with air. A compressor and a pneumatic down-the-hole hammer are used for percussion drilling. In unstable strata such as gravel, pipe-following drilling tools can be used to drill holes with casing.

2. The cobalt machine adopts a long-stroke double-speed mechanism and a mechanical power head with a stroke of 3500mm.
Improve drilling efficiency and reduce the occurrence of drill blockage and drill burning accidents.

3. The cobalt machine uses a double oil pump to supply oil, and the hydraulic system uses splitting and merging technology. A single pump is used when drilling, and a combination of two pumps is used when raising and lowering the drill. This results in low power loss and short auxiliary time.

4. The main shaft of the drilling rig adopts mechanical transmission. The transmission efficiency is doubled, the power energy consumption is greatly reduced, and it is more efficient and energy-saving.
