JINTHERM 701 is a high performance synthetic organic heat transfer fluid for liquid and vapour-liquid phase circulation in closed forced circulation heat transfer systems. JINTHERM 701 in the liquid phase is preferably used in atmospheric pressure systems at working temperatures from -20ºCto 330ºC(-4ºF to 626ºF). JINTHERM 701 has a good kinematic viscosity and is an ideal conductive fluid for heating and cooling processes.
In common heat transfer installations, JINTHERM 701 provides good heat transfer at temperatures of around 0°C. The heat transfer surface should be matched to the technical characteristics and flow conditions of the heat transfer surface. At operating temperatures below 0°C/3°F, the inside surface of the unit should match the technical characteristics and flow conditions of JINTHERM 701.
JINTHERM 701 is best suited to the temperature control of vessels, reactors and processing machines which are both heated and cooled by means of a central heat-transfer system, and in systems in which several consumers have to be supplied at very different temperature levels.
Shelf life and storage:
Store in a cool, dry place under the condition of keeping the original package sealed.
The product must be kept tightly sealed during storage. If it is not sealed and stored, or the packaging container with poor sealing is replaced, the product may deteriorate.
