Ammonium chloride, abbreviated as ammonium chloride, is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula NH4Cl. It refers to the ammonium salt of hydrochloric acid and is often a by-product of the alkali industry. Containing 24% to 26% nitrogen, it is a white or slightly yellow square or octahedral small crystal, with two types of formulations: powdered and granular. Granular ammonium chloride is not easy to absorb moisture and is easy to store, while powdered ammonium chloride is mostly used as a basic fertilizer for the production of compound fertilizers.

Double decomposition method: First, add ammonium chloride mother liquor to the reactor and heat it to 105 ºC. Then, add ammonium sulfate and table salt, and conduct double decomposition reaction at 117 ºC to generate ammonium chloride solution and sodium sulfate crystals. After filtration and separation to remove sodium sulfate, the saturated ammonium chloride solution is sent to the cooling crystallizer and cooled to 32-35 ºC to precipitate crystals. Filter and wash the crystals with four different concentrations of ammonium chloride solutions, controlling Fe<0.008%, <0.001%, after rinsing until qualified, the crystals are re mixed into a slurry using ammonium chloride solution, sent to a centrifuge for separation and dehydration, and then dried by hot air to obtain industrial ammonium chloride finished products. The mother liquor is sent to the decomposition reactor for recycling.
Recrystallization method: crude ammonium chloride is added to a dissolver, dissolved in steam, filtered, cooled, crystallized, centrifuged, and dried to produce industrial ammonium chloride products. The mother liquor separated by centrifugation is returned to the dissolver for use;
