Yeast disc separator is a type of nozzle slag discharge separator. It is widely used in suspension's solid phase concentration and emulsion's light phase concentration. For example, kinds of yeast's separation and concentration, clarification of clay and pigment's dirty water, recycle of catalyst and high polymer powder. So it is one of the best equipment for yeast factories, alcohol factories, brewery factories and environmental protection departments. 
 
The starch separators are disc separators with high speed and continuous nozzle discharge. Disc centrifuge/separator is used for purifying starch, preconcentration, protein separation and starch recovery, can also be used in food, medicine, dyeing, environmental protection departments of the liquid-solid two phase separation and clarification, concentration and recovery process, such as kaolin pulp recycling, waste water treatment, etc. 

Nozzle separators are continuously operating disk centrifuges. They are built as centrifugal clarifiers and separators and are more solids-orientated than self-cleaning separators. When they are configured to function as clarifiers, they are called concentrators. They are used to thicken solids from suspensions.
