Introduction:
Suspension magnetic separators are a type of magnetic separation equipment used to remove tramp iron and other ferrous contaminants from products passing through a conveyor belt or vibratory feeder. It consists of a magnetic system suspended above a conveyor belt or vibratory feeder, creating a magnetic field that attracts and holds ferrous materials. This allows non-magnetic materials to continue along the conveyor while magnetic materials are removed and collected separately to ensure product purity and protect processing equipment from damage caused by metal contaminants.
Suspension magnetic separators are available in permanent and electromagnetic,manual cleaning and self cleaning version.

While the electric current pass through the insulated wire coil to generate magnetic field,heat will generated inevitably,excessive heat will affect the work efficiency of the electromagnetic separator,what the worse is even burned the insulated wire coil,so how to discharge the excessive heat is an important part of costs constitute to the electro magnetic separator.How to discharge the excessive heat?The international general three ways is natural cooling,fan cooling and oil cooling.
Generally speaking, the most widely used is natural cooling electro magnet and the best way to discharge the excessive heat is oil cooling electro magnet.

All electro magnet comes along with control panel:
1.Power Supply: The electronic control panel supplies power to the electro magnet unit and associated components.The electronic control panel converts AC electricity to DC, providing the electromagnetic magnet with the power needed to generate magnetic force. This conversion is crucial as it enables the magnet to create a strong magnetic field.
2.Magnet Activation:controling the activation and deactivation of the magnet's electromagnetic field. When activated, the magnet generates a strong magnetic field that attracts ferrous materials.
3.Variable Strength Control:allowing for adjustment of the magnetic field strength. This feature is useful for optimizing the magnet's performance based on the material being processed or the operating conditions.
4.Safety Features:including safety features such as emergency stop buttons and overload protection circuits. These ensure safe operation and prevent damage to the equipment.
5.Monitoring and indication: including indicators or displays that show the status of the magnet (on/off) and may provide diagnostic information in case of malfunctions.
6. Remote Operation:supporting remote operation, allowing operators to control the magnet from a distance using switches or a control interface.

Self Cleaning Magnets:
Self cleaning magnets are based on existing and improved technology of permanent magnets and electro magnets,which adds iron discharge structure which composes of driving motor, roll, frame and iron discharging belt with scraper on the basis of permanent magnets and electro magnets.
Self cleaning magnets usually suspend on the conveyor or over the head pulley and used in a widely variety of application for the removal of occasional tramp iron automatically.
Work with various kinds of conveyor belt, 0.1~35kg ferrous material can be remove from the incompact non-ferrous materials.
These can be mounted either in line with the conveyor belt or in cross belt configuration.
