Medical Grade Hemodialysis Catheter Kit with Double Lumen and Sterile Packaging Available for Wholesale
Hemodialysis catheter is a type of medical device that is used to provide access to a patient's bloodstream for the purpose of hemodialysis, a medical procedure that is used to remove waste and excess fluids from the blood when a patient's kidneys are not functioning properly.
The hemodialysis catheter is typically inserted into a large vein, such as the jugular vein in the neck or the femoral vein in the groin, and is used to allow blood to flow from the patient's body to a hemodialysis machine, where the blood is filtered and cleaned before being returned to the patient's body.
Hemodialysis catheters come in different types and sizes, but they all consist of a long, thin tube with one or more openings at the end that are placed into the patient's bloodstream. They are usually temporary and are used until a more permanent form of vascular access, such as an arteriovenous fistula or graft, can be established.
