Specification:
Oral hypoglycemic drugs
Metformin hydrochloride is a biguanide oral hypoglycemic drug, also known as metformin hydrochloride, gehuazhi, and medican. Its hypoglycemic effect is weaker than phenformin. Its main role is to reduce the secretion of glucagon in A cells, promote the conversion of glucose into glycogen, and not stimulate islets β- The characteristic of cells secreting [i].
Mechanism of action
1. Increase the sensitivity of surrounding tissues to [i] and increase [i] mediated glucose utilization
2. Increase the utilization of glucose by non [i] dependent tissues, such as the brain, blood cells, renal medulla, intestines, skin, etc.
3. Inhibit the heterogenic effect of liver glycogen and reduce liver glucose output.
4. Inhibit glucose uptake by intestinal parietal cell.
5. Inhibit the biosynthesis and storage of cholesterol, reduce blood triglycerides and total cholesterol levels.
Purpose
In clinical practice, metformin hydrochloride is mainly used to treat patients with type II diabetes who are not satisfied with simple diet control, especially those who are obese and with hyper[i]emia. This drug not only has the effect of lowering blood sugar, but also may have the effect of reducing weight and hyper[i]emia. It can be effective for patients with poor efficacy in certain sulfonylureas, such as when used in combination with sulfonylureas, small intestinal glycosidase inhibitors, or thiazolidinedione hypoglycemic drugs, which are more effective than when used alone. It can also be used for patients undergoing [i] therapy to reduce [i] dosage.
This product is a hypoglycemic drug. This product can reduce fasting and postprandial hyperglycemia in patients with type II diabetes
Indications: for mild diabetes
Metformin hydrochloride is an anti diabetes drug, which can reduce blood glucose level and improve [i] sensitivity. Its metabolism (including inhibition of liver glycogenesis) is activated through the LKB1-AMPK (AMP activated protein kinase) pathway.
This product is a hypoglycemic drug for non [i] dependent diabetes.
Packing:
25kg/drum or carton
Storage:
Store in tightly closed original container, protected from light, in a dry place.
