Nickel Mesh Electrode is used for anode current collection; It has two kinds: nickel expanded mesh and nickel wire mesh. They both have high resistance to strong acids like phosphorous trichloride, phosphorous oxychloride and benzoyl chloride. They fit best for fuel cell operations for example as nickel-compartment/Ni-Hi/Li-ion battery electrode.
Nickel Expanded Mesh is manufactured by symmetrically slitting and stretching the nickel sheet to produce diamond shape openings. This type of expanded mesh has avoided the electric flow problem which usually occurs in the woven wire mesh.
Titanium expanded mesh is produced by TA1 titanium plate and titanium foil,which are produced by machine stamping .The shapes of holes are diamond,square, and semi-circular.
