The OCu intrauterine device is made of medical stainless steel wire (Φ0.35mm) and built-in high-conductivity oxygen-free copper wire with 99.99% purity. It is suitable to be placed in the uterus for contraception.
The IUD and the placement device are packaged as a complete set and are sterilized by ethylene oxide before leaving the factory. The sterilization period is 5 years. According to the release of copper ions, the use period is about 9 years. After the use period is exceeded, users are recommended to take it out.
The IUD should be stored in a well-ventilated room with a relative humidity of no more than 80%, no corrosive gas.

2. Placement steps:
a) The depth of the uterine cavity should be detected before placement, and the appropriate IUD specifications should be selected.
b) Avoid the joints of the IUD, and install the IUD on the fork of the IUD.
c) Move the stopper on the fork to the depth of the uterine cavity.
d) After passing the cervix in the direction of the uterine cavity, turn the fork in the horizontal position and turn it to the right, and deliver the IUD to the fundus of the uterus.
e) Retract the placement fork to the intrauterine opening, and then push the lower edge of the IUD close to the bottom of the uterus and then exit the placement device.
3. Matters needing attention:
a) This device must be placed by trained medical personnel;
b) The best time for this device to be stored is 5-7 days after menstruation.
c) This device has been sterilized by ethylene oxide, it should be placed immediately after cutting the packaging bag;
d) Check the packaging bag before use. It is found that the expiration date or the packaging bag is damaged or leaking, and it is strictly prohibited to use it;
e) This contraceptive device is a single-use product and cannot be reused.
4. Adverse reactions and side effects:
a) There may be bleeding or bloody discharge in the first few days after placement;
b) Some patients have prolonged menstrual periods and increased menstrual blood volume. It usually disappears after 2-3 months of storage.
5. Contraindications:
a) Known pregnancy;
b) Those who have suffered from uterine inflammatory disease or infection in the past 3 months;
c) Unexplained vaginal bleeding in the past 3 months.
d) There are various serious acute and chronic diseases.
e) People with a history of copper allergy.
