Pepson's polyurethane, PU, properties of high wear and load carrying is the ideal material for making scrapers. Pepson polyurethane has excellent resistance to oils, fuels and many other chemicals. Excellent tensile strength makes Pepson polyurethane more resistant to tears and cuts than rubber and silicone. Pepson polyurethane has great versatility at low temperatures with typical service temperatures ranging from -40 degree centigrade to +80 degree centigrade.
Pepson's manufacturing process allows scrapers to be made with holes, slots, chamfers and cutouts.
Pepson's comprehensive shot blasting and bonding facility allows the incorporation of steel fixing plates and tungsten wear blades into the polyurethane, PU, scraper.
Pepson also offer the customer the ability to incorporate part numbers and logos into the polyurethane scraper product. This can be helpful when the scraper is fitted onto OEM machinery for future after market sales and the marketing of genuine OEM spares.

Pepson offer a very wide range of colours of polyurethane. Standard colours are black, white, red, blue, orange green and yellow, hardness ranging from 35 Shore A to 80 Shore D.

1It is the most versatile, toughest, abrasion resistance elastomer available. It is as soft as Shore A durometer 10 and hard as Shore D scale durometer 85.
2It could be cast into practically any shape, size or complex geometry desired wheels,
gears, O rings, gaskets, tires, roller blades, skate boards etc.
3It can be formulated with high resistance to stresses and it tends to maintain shape and mechanical properties aster fatigue stressing.
4Casting Polyurethane maybe pigmented to resist degradation by elevated atmospheric oxygen and ozone atmospheric concentrations.
5Many cast polyurethane elastomers compounds remain flexible at extreme low temperatures and possess outstanding resistance to thermal shock.  Low temperature resistance of polyurethanes make cast parts very practical in extreme arctic conditions.
6Casting polyurethane parts can be made flame resistance by incorporating flame retardants into their formulas.
7Polyurethane can be cast with coefficients of friction varying from very low, for items like bushings, bearings or wear strips, or very high, for items like tries or rollers.
