PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a technology that deposits a thin layer of material on the mold surface, aiming to improve the mold's hardness, corrosion resistance, surface quality, service life and product quality.
The selection and application of PVD coating depends on the specific purpose of the mold and the quality requirements of the products produced. In the automotive manufacturing industry, the most important component of automotive molds is the cover mold, which is used to manufacture all parts on the car.
The advantages of PVD-plated drawing dies mainly include improving hardness, corrosion resistance, improving surface roughness, reducing material adhesion, extending service life, improving product quality, and giving special functions.
