Product Description
AMMONIUM CHLORIDE
General notices
Molecular formula:NH4Cl
Molecular weight:53.49
CAS. No.:12125-02-9
Action and use
Used for the acidification of urine and to correct metabolic alkalosis.
Preparation
Ammonium Chloride Mixture
Specification of Ammonium Chloride
Medically, ammonium chloride can reduce phlegm and cough
Ammonium chloride enters the body, and some ammonium ions are rapidly metabolized by the liver to form urea, which is excreted through urine. Chloride ions combine with hydrogen to form hydrochloric acid, thereby correcting alkalosis.
Due to the chemical stimulation of the mucosa, it reflexively increases the amount of phlegm, making it easier to expel and thus facilitating the clearance of small amounts of sticky phlegm that are difficult to cough up. After absorption, chloride ions enter the blood and extracellular fluid, causing urine acidification.
